Ingredients

  • 300g chow mein noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 1 pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 thumb ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Spring onion

Instructions

  1. Stir-fry garlic and ginger in oil.
  2. Add chillies, onion, carrot, pepper; cook 3 minutes.
  3. Add cabbage; cook 2 minutes.
  4. Tip in noodles, both soy sauces, vinegar, sugar, garam masala.
  5. Toss over high heat 2 minutes.
  6. Top with spring onion.
