Ethiopian Atkilt Wat

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cabbage, chunked
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, cubed
  • 3 onions, chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 thumb ginger
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the onions in oil 10 min until soft.
  2. Add garlic, ginger and turmeric; cook 2 min.
  3. Add carrots; cook 5 min.
  4. Add potatoes and 250ml water; cook 15 min.
  5. Add cabbage; cook 10 min more.
  6. Adjust salt.
