Ingredients
- 500g strong flour
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 300ml warm milk
- 40g butter, softened
- 1 egg for glazing
Instructions
- Mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, milk and butter into a soft dough.
- Knead for 10 minutes, then rise for 1 hour.
- Divide into balls and place on a tray.
- Rise another 30 minutes, then brush with egg.
- Bake at 200C for 18-20 minutes until golden.
