Ingredients
- 6 cooking apples, peeled and sliced
- 75g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- For the crumble: 200g plain flour, 100g cold butter cubed, 80g sugar, 80g rolled oats, pinch of salt
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 190C.
- Toss the apples with sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice; tip into a baking dish.
- Rub the butter into the flour and salt until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Stir in the oats and sugar.
- Scatter the crumble over the apples, pressing lightly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbling at the edges.
