Ingredients

  • 3 cups warm cooked Japanese rice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • For fillings: tuna mayo, salted plum (umeboshi), grilled salmon, or tarako
  • Nori sheets, cut into strips
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Wet your hands and salt them lightly.
  2. Take a handful of rice, make a well, add a spoon of filling, and close up.
  3. Shape firmly into a triangle.
  4. Wrap a strip of nori around the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
