Lebanese Manakish Za'atar

Ingredients

  • 400g flour
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250ml warm water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • For topping: 4 tbsp za'atar blend, 60ml olive oil mixed

Instructions

  1. Mix dough ingredients; knead 8 minutes.
  2. Rise 1 hour.
  3. Divide into 4 balls; roll out 5mm thick.
  4. Spread za'atar oil generously over each.
  5. Bake at 220C for 8-10 minutes until golden.
