Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine (Tempranillo or Rioja)
  • 100ml brandy
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 apple, cubed
  • Handful berries
  • 500ml sparkling water
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Mix the wine, brandy, sugar and fruit in a large jug.
  2. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Chill at least 2 hours (or overnight) for the flavours to meld.
  4. Top with sparkling water and ice just before serving.
