Ingredients

  • 250g halloumi or kefalograviera, in 1cm-thick slabs
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • Oregano, pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat the cheese dry and dust both sides with flour.
  2. Heat the oil until very hot.
  3. Fry the cheese for 1-2 minutes a side until deep golden and crusty.
  4. Squeeze over lemon and finish with oregano and pepper.
