Ingredients

  • 400g cooked mac and cheese, chilled firm
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Chill the mac and cheese until firm, then cut into cubes or roll into balls.
  2. Coat each in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
  3. Chill again for 15 minutes.
  4. Fry in hot oil until golden and crisp.
  5. Drain on paper.
