Halloumi Fries

Ingredients

  • 450g halloumi, cut into sticks
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • Sweet chilli sauce
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Pat the halloumi sticks dry with paper.
  2. Mix the cornflour, paprika and oregano.
  3. Toss the halloumi in the seasoned cornflour.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the sticks 1-2 minutes per side until deep golden.
  5. Drain briefly.
  6. Serve immediately with sweet chilli sauce and lemon.
