Ingredients

  • 250g plain flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 300ml milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Butter for the pan

Instructions

  1. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Mix the eggs, milk and butter, then stir into the dry until just combined (lumps are fine).
  3. Heat a little butter in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Pour in small rounds and cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook briefly.
  5. Stack and serve.
