Ingredients

  • 300g penne
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes (or more)
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne until al dente; reserve pasta water.
  2. Gently fry the garlic and chilli in the oil until fragrant.
  3. Add the tomatoes and a pinch of salt; simmer 12 minutes.
  4. Toss in the pasta with a splash of pasta water.
  5. Finish with parsley.
