Ingredients

  • For dough: 300g strong flour, 1 tsp yeast, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 200ml warm water, 1 tbsp oil
  • For topping: 150ml passata, 1 garlic clove, 1 tsp oregano, 1 ball mozzarella, fresh basil, olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the dough, knead well, and let rise for 1 hour.
  2. Mix the passata with the garlic, oregano and a pinch of salt.
  3. Stretch the dough thin on a hot tray or stone.
  4. Spread the sauce, tear over the mozzarella.
  5. Bake at the highest oven temperature for 10-12 minutes until bubbling and charred.
  6. Top with fresh basil and a drizzle of oil.
