Ingredients

  • 2 large flatbreads or pizza bases
  • 4 tbsp passata or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 ball mozzarella, torn
  • Handful fresh basil
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to its highest setting and place a baking tray inside.
  2. Mix the passata with the grated garlic, a pinch of salt and a drizzle of oil.
  3. Spread thinly over the bases, leaving a border.
  4. Dot over the mozzarella.
  5. Bake on the hot tray for 10-12 minutes until the edges are crisp and the cheese is bubbling.
  6. Scatter with basil and a final drizzle of oil before slicing.
