Classic Beef Burger

Ingredients

  • 600g beef mince (20% fat)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 cheese slices
  • To serve: lettuce, tomato, onion, sauces
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Loosely shape the mince into 4 patties; press a dimple in the centre.
  2. Season generously just before cooking.
  3. Sear in a hot pan or grill for 3-4 minutes a side.
  4. Add cheese in the last minute to melt.
  5. Toast the buns and build with your favourite toppings.
