Ingredients

  • 800g chicken, bone-in pieces
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 4 green chillies
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • Ginger strips and coriander to finish
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil and fry the chicken until sealed.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes and ground spices; cook until the tomatoes break down and the oil rises.
  4. Cover and cook 15 minutes until the chicken is tender.
  5. Finish with green chillies, ginger strips, garam masala and coriander.
