Ingredients

  • 600g chicken thighs, cubed
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • 1 egg
  • Oil for frying
  • For sauce: 4 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp hoisin, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1/2 cup water, 1 tbsp cornflour with water
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Spring onion

Instructions

  1. Coat the chicken in egg then cornflour; fry crisp.
  2. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan.
  3. Mix the sauce ingredients; simmer until glossy and thick.
  4. Toss the chicken in the sauce with most of the sesame seeds.
  5. Top with the rest of the sesame and spring onion.
