Ingredients

  • 600g chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • For the sauce: 4 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 2 garlic cloves grated, 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • Spring onions to serve

Instructions

  1. Dip the chicken cubes in egg, then dredge in cornflour.
  2. Shallow-fry in batches until golden and crisp; drain on paper.
  3. In a clean pan, combine the sauce ingredients and bubble for 2 minutes until syrupy.
  4. Toss the chicken in the sauce, scatter with sesame seeds and spring onions.
