Ingredients

  • 8 sausages
  • 1kg potatoes
  • 50g butter
  • 100ml milk
  • For gravy: 2 onions sliced, 1 tbsp flour, 500ml beef stock, 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausages until golden and cooked through.
  2. Boil and mash the potatoes with butter and milk.
  3. For the gravy, soften the onions, stir in the flour, then add stock and Worcestershire; simmer until thick.
  4. Serve the sausages over the mash with plenty of gravy.
